It’s time to tie the knot: Auspicious wedding dates in 2024
2024 just happens to be a leap year, which is considered a very auspicious and lucky year to be married. For instance, in Chinese culture, couples that get married in a leap year are considered to be very lucky and prosperous; the leap year is supposed to be very auspicious for weddings. While the Hindu calendar may not typically support weddings on the 29th of February, leap years are considered lucky and auspicious in Hindu mythology too. If you are thinking about getting married this leap year, here are some of the most auspicious wedding dates in 2024 according to the Hindu calendar.
January was actually a pretty good month to get married, so if you tied the knot last month, please accept our heartiest congratulations. In the month of January 2024, the 16th and 17th were very auspicious dates. This was followed by the 20th weekend, 27th and 28th as well as the last two days of the month. February too is a very auspicious month according to the Hindu calendar of 2024. This month has 11 auspicious dates to get married, starting with the 4th of February, 6th to 8th of February and then the 12th and 13th of February. After that, the 17th and the 29th of the month are also considered very auspicious, as well as the 24th to 26th marking the dates for the perfect weekend wedding!
